Nestled in the heart of Charles Correa’s National Crafts Museum, this outdoor restaurant is a celebration of heritage and heirloom recipes from all over the country. Offering contemporary-yet-healthy versions of several regional dishes (sabudana popcorn, ragi vada pav, steamed Tibetan tingmo and Amritsari Fish ’N’ Chips to name a few), Café Lota is a cultural (and culinary) oasis for tourists, ambitious design school graduates, and silver-haired art aficionados. Not to miss? Their bhapa doi cheesecake, crispy apple jalebis and the famous palak patta chaat, which will always be our perennial favourite.
